Welcome to River Ridge Lodge. Currently, we are not serving breakfast as one  of our owners is recovering from a serious car accident. We apologize  for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding  during this recovery period. 

Guests are welcome to bring food and use our guest lounge to prepare their own breakfast.

 Rooms can be booked at a room-only rate. 

 At River Ridge Lodge, we believe that breakfast should be optional. Whether you're a morning person or not, it's entirely your choice! It's totally up to you whether you would like to include breakfast. Fancy a delicious German-inspired spread with organic and locally sourced ingredients? We've got that! But if coffee and tea are more your style - stress-free! It comes complimentary with every stay.  Of course, you only pay for breakfast if you opt to include it. 

 We know you want your morning cup of coffee, so upon request,  we'll deliver your coffee and tea outside your guest room early in the morning. We provide a thermos to keep your coffee hot for hours, plus a  kettle and tea in both your room and guest lounge. You can also choose from a variety of black and herbal teas in the guest lounge.  

 Breakfast is served in our sunny guest lounge on our long table.  Enjoy the sunlight as you savour your delicious German-inspired breakfast experience. 

 Our informal, casual atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and enjoying your Mahone Bay getaway. You can choose to have your meal served between 8:30 - 9:15, or if you're here during the off-season, we'll do our best to accommodate later timings upon request. 

 We offer customizable options catering to most diets, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets, so everyone's preferences are considered. 

As part of our commitment to sustainability practices, all guests will be sent out an online order form prior to your arrival date - this helps us minimize food waste while still serving up quality meals!

 If local cuisine's on your mind, ask away - we love recommending nearby restaurants serving delicious breakfasts. Book directly through us, and we can adjust your booking to include breakfasts one day and not the other, and of course, you pay only for the breakfasts you ordered;  easy as pie!
