Head to the 4-day 2023 Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival from August 10-13th, 2023, and get your toes tappin'. Four days of great music and fun for the whole family!
There will be artists representing traditional and contemporary folk music from near and far on stages throughout Lunenburg. The Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival is Nova Scotia's longest-running folk music festival.

Save the date; the 2023 Helly Hansen Chester Race Week will be from August 16 to 19, 2023.
Chester Race Week is a sailing regatta and celebration with lively entertainment. The four-day event offers visitors lots more than great racing. Onshore after the races wrap up, there is plenty of live entertainment with artists and bands playing all four days and into the evening.
For the 2022 Chester Race Week, the Martins Point Pop-Up, with the best and most innovative small business vendors from the South Shore and beyond set up shop at the Chester Yacht Club.

We are so happy that the very popular 2022 Scarecrow Festival will be happening on September 24th and 25th, 2022, this year.

Scarecrows will be on display throughout Mahone Bay from Friday, September 23rd through Monday, October 10th. Just alone seeing all the scarecrows in town is worth making Mahone Bay your destination.
During the festival, there will be an Antique Fair, Pumpkins Path, Kids Activities, Annie's Attic Yard Sale, Mahone Bay Quilter's Guild and a Pancake & Sausage Breakfast.
Roll out the Barrel on October 21st and 22nd, 2022! Mahone Bay and Lunenburg collaborate to bring Oktoberfest Celebration to the South Shore.
A new fall event to celebrate the South Shore's German heritage. Oktoberfest celebrations will boast local food and drink, music and history.
Saturday 22nd - Beer Garden with live music from Matt Minglewood Band at the Luneburg Community Centre
Activities in the works include a "Best of the Wurst" contest, family-friendly activities exploring German heritage on the Lunenburg waterfront and a Mahone Bay/Lunenburg Trail Bike Race.
Full Day Bus Tour Package will be available from Halifax for $129 + tax encompassing both major events, including round trip transport.

After it had been cancelled last year, the Antique Fair is back in Mahone Bay in September 2021.
