Get ready to raise a glass and have a blast at the 2nd Annual South Shore Oktoberfest on October 7th, 2023! Join us as we celebrate our region's vibrant German heritage with a jam-packed day of local food, drinks, music, and history.

From 1-4pm, indulge in delicious eats from our amazing food vendors. Immerse yourself in the German culture with our free cultural event from 11 am to 3 pm. Get ready for the ultimate beer garden experience as The Navigators with special guest Aaron MacDonald rock the stage from 7-11 pm (get your tickets now!).

Don't miss the Bridgewater Fire Department German Band or the fun-filled Kids Zone with German-themed activities and traditional Bavarian heart cookie decorating. On June 10th and 11th, 2023, the beautiful town of Mahone Bay will be hosting its 2023 Annual self-guided Home & Garden Tour of heritage homes and gardens in support of the Mahone Bay Museum. A warm welcome awaits you at the front doors and garden gates of some exceptional properties.

Join us on June 10th for the Blossom Luncheon, held in Trinity United Church! Enjoy delectable local cuisine while getting an inside glimpse into this vibrant little town - 101 Edgewater St is where the yummy fun will happen!

Save the date; the 2023 Helly Hansen Chester Race Week will be from August 16 to 19, 2023. 

Chester Race Week is a sailing regatta and celebration with lively entertainment. The four-day event offers visitors lots more than great racing. Onshore after the races wrap up, there is plenty of live entertainment with artists and bands playing all four days and into the evening. 

For the 2022 Chester Race Week, the Martins Point Pop-Up, with the best and most innovative small business vendors from the South Shore and beyond set up shop at the Chester Yacht Club.

Head to the 4-day 2023 Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival from August 10-13th, 2023,  and get your toes tappin'. Four days of great music and fun for the whole family!

There will be artists representing traditional and contemporary folk music from near and far on stages throughout Lunenburg. The Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival is Nova Scotia's longest-running folk music festival.
