Terms and Conditions

We would like you to have an enjoyable and memorable stay. To help us provide you with the best possible service, please review the following policies.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in: 4-6 pm

Check-out: 11 am

It helps our daily life greatly if we know approximately when you will arrive; please let us know your approximate check-in time. If you arrive at the airport that day and plan to come straight here, you might want to give us your flight details so we can check if the flight is delayed, and you don't have to worry.

In case your scheduled arrival time has changed, please notify us.

Early/Late Check-ins

We will accommodate early and late check-in times whenever possible. Please arrange with us in advance. If we don’t know that you will be arriving before or after 4 pm-6 pm, you might arrive at an empty house since we do NOT have a 24-hour front desk.

Cancellation Policy

A charge equal to the full booking amount will be made if the booking is cancelled less than 10 days before arrival. In the event of a no-show or booking reduction (after arrival date), the booking’s full cost is charged.

When you reserve a room or rooms, we agree to turn away all other requests for the room(s) you reserved, guaranteeing to hold them for the day(s) you requested. We want our policy to be fair for our guests, yet we also need to prevent income loss to our B&B by cancellations.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited inside the building. We ask that you be considerate of other guests when smoking outside. Please ask us for ashtrays.

River Ridge Lodge reserves the right to charge the credit card on file a $250 fee to cover the cost of deep cleaning.

Parking

There is ample free parking available at the lodge. The guest parking is close to the guest entrance on the left side right after the gate.

Pets

We adore (most) animals and there are a dog and a cat on-site in the owner’s quarters; however, to ensure the comfort of all our guests and to be able to accommodate guests with allergies, we are unable to accommodate guests' pets. We will happily work with you to make arrangements for your pet at a local boarding facility.

Baggage

Should your room not be ready yet or you would like to enjoy the property/area before check-in or after check-out, we gladly offer to store your luggage and allow you to park your car on the premise free of charge.

Visitor Policy

River Ridge Lodge is a private place for rest and relaxation for our registered guests. Should you, however, anticipate guests during your stay, please discuss with us first.

Other House Rules/Policies

Rates/Policies are subject to change
Use of the dock on the river and the boathouse is entirely at the risk of the Guests
To assure all our guests have pleasant and peaceful stay, no unregistered overnight visitors please
No open flames or candles in the guest rooms please
Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible. Access to all bedrooms/suites requires at least some stairs.
We will do our best to make sure all amenities are in working order during the visit, but the guest will not be entitled to any refund due to malfunctions or repair difficulties.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying any damage, including deliberate, negligent or reckless act, or omission during their stay to River Ridge Lodge’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to guest’s credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage, to the registered address. We will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
