At River Ridge Lodge, we believe a great day begins with a perfect start. While our breakfast offerings have changed, our commitment to maintaining our welcoming atmosphere and high standards remains without significantly increasing rates. Our updated approach enables us to continue hosting you in a way that is sustainable, allowing us to maintain the high standards you love while focusing on what we do best—hosting you at our beautiful lodge. 

A great day begins with a great cup. We offer a selection of freshly brewed coffee, espresso, and teas in our guest lounge.  Our drip coffee maker and espresso machine are at your disposal whenever you need a fresh morning pick-me-up. 

If you prefer to enjoy your coffee in your room, just let us know!  Frauke will happily prepare a tray with a thermos of your favourite brew and all the condiments you like. Kettles and a variety of black and herbal teas are also available in your room and the lounge for your convenience. 

For a quick, light start, we provide complimentary yoghurt and granola each morning in the guest lounge. Feel free to bring your own groceries and use our guest lounge, complete with a table and chairs, a refrigerator, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and all the dishes and utensils you may need. Enjoy preparing your breakfast at your own pace and leave the cleanup to us—we handle the dishes! 

Craving something different? The charming towns of Mahone Bay,  Lunenburg, Chester, Gold River, and Oak Island Resort boast fantastic breakfast venues just a short drive away. We'd be happy to share our recommendations to help you start your day the local way (below is a list of our recommended breakfast spots in the area).
