"This is the perfect getaway spot - quiet, clean, and comfortable, in beautiful natural surroundings, with lots of places to explore nearby. I kept thinking this would be the perfect setting to get married (if I weren't already married!). We had a comfy sleep in our immaculate room, then ate a delicious and hearty breakfast. Then we went into Mahone Bay for a nice long wander in the outdoor market and shops. The town is quaint and picturesque. On another day, we visited Lunenburg. There are many other things to do; Frauke and Mike (your wonderful hosts) can give you lots of ideas. "Spent the weekend and loved everything about it. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Cozy rooms with everything we needed. Quiet and tranquil dock on the river where we spent many hours. Our breakfast was fresh, delicious and beautifully served. Our hosts were amazing. So welcoming and friendly, it was like visiting old friends. Even the pets, Charlie and Max greeted us with kindness. I highly recommend and will definitely return."
